Born in Alexandroupolis, Greece, Erasmia - Ismini lives and works in Greece. While her studies were in finance and accounting, and she currently works at the Ministry of Finance, she fell in love with handmade jewelry early on. By 2013 she would start taking sculpting lessons under the guidance of the sculptor Stelios Sarros. She has taken part in multiple exhibitions of the workshop, including in Contemporary Athens Gallery (2020) and ArtNumber23 Gallery (2020). Her work is based on the study of human figure as a mean of expression of emotions, sexuality, experiences and circumstances, as well as different forms that it can take, transcending definitions and stereotypical gender norms, highlighting the dynamics of the human body itself.
